About Us

Telluride School District lies in the stunning San Juan Mountains. It shines as a center for top learning and holistic student growth. The district serves students from PreK to 12th grade. It combines classic education with Telluride’s cultural and experiential offerings. Every school in the district focuses on a strong curriculum, broad extracurricular activities, and practical mentorship opportunities. Telluride School District does more than impart knowledge. It's Homecoming Week at Telluride School District!

Get ready to show your school spirit! We encourage all PreK through 12th-grade students to participate in Spirit Week activities. For more details on the specific dress-up days and events, please refer to your school’s newsletter.

This week’s Homecoming events include:

  • Line Dancing Lessons on Tuesday in the HS Gym from 2-3:30 PM for HS students to come and learn!
  • Pep Rally for 7th-12th graders in the TMHS Gym on Thursday at 1:08 PM, where we’ll announce the Homecoming Court members!
  • Volleyball Game is on Thursday at TMHS and the Homecoming Royalty will be crowned after (approximately 7 PM)!
  • The Telluride High School HoCo Hoe-Down at the Elk’s Lodge on Saturday— high school students, don’t miss it!
